The Impact Effect Actor is an actor that is created by a module. It also allows you to add an effect, the main difference with a module is that its lifespan can be longer.
A module instantiates an actor, a component and doesn’t worry about it anymore. With the Impact Effect Actor, you can do more complex things.
For example, the Niagara Spawner module instantiates an Impact Effect Actor to handle collisions of particles with the environment.
To create a new class based on Impact Effect Actor, you can do it quickly using the context menu. Choose Impact Designer > Event > Impact Effect Actor.
